Our commitment

Social Responsibility

At Glaciares de Ausangate, we believe tourism should benefit both people and the environment. We therefore develop social responsibility projects focused on strengthening local communities, environmental conservation, and preserving Ausangate's cultural identity.

Our project

Ausangate Sustainable Tourism Project

The communities near the Ausangate glaciers have great tourism potential, but face challenges involving training, sustainable tourism management, and the preservation of their cultural and natural heritage. This project was created to strengthen their capabilities and promote responsible tourism development.

Main objective

Strengthen local community capabilities through training, research, and technical assistance programs that foster sustainable tourism, improve family incomes, and promote the conservation of Ausangate's ecosystems and cultural traditions.
