1. General

These terms and conditions govern the use of the Glaciares de Ausangate website and the contracting of our tourism services in Cusco, Peru. By accessing our website or booking a tour, you accept these terms in full.

2. Operator Identification

Glaciares de Ausangate is the trade name under which X-Travel PERÚ (Peruvian Tax ID / RUC 20601549256) operates, a tour operator registered and domiciled in Cusco, Peru. All bookings and services described on this site are provided by that company.

3. Bookings and Payments

• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit.
• The remaining balance must be paid at least 48 hours before the tour start date.
• We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and cash payments in our Cusco office.
• All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

• Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the tour.
• Cancellations within 72 hours: 50% refund.
• No-shows: no refund.
• Cancellations due to weather or force majeure: full refund or free rescheduling.

5. Traveler Responsibilities

• Inform about pre-existing medical conditions before the tour.
• Follow the safety instructions given by guides at all times.
• Carry appropriate equipment and clothing.
• Respect the natural environment and local communities.

6. Liability

Glaciares de Ausangate acts as a tourism operator and takes all reasonable precautions for traveler safety. However, we are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural phenomena, altitude sickness, or acts of third parties.

7. Minors

Travelers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or carry a valid notarized travel authorization in accordance with current Peruvian regulations. We reserve the right to request this documentation before the tour begins.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including texts, images, logos, and graphic design, is the property of Glaciares de Ausangate and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited without our express consent.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. As a consumer, you have the right to file a complaint through our Complaints Book (available on this website) and, if unresolved, before Indecopi (Peru's National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property).

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on this page.
