Origin & Significance
Qoyllur Rit'i (Star Snow in Quechua) is a pilgrimage celebrated near the Sinakara glacier every year before Corpus Christi.
The Pilgrimage
Tens of thousands of pilgrims journey to 4,800 m above sea level to dance, pray, and honor the Apus (mountain spirits).
